We are drawing close to the final stretch of the Fantasy Acting League now. This makes it all the more surprising, I still haven’t got the faintest idea of who is going to win it. The usual cliché of the Top Three is closer to a Top Five, perhaps even a Top Eight. One more team gets an unusual surge of points (Suicide Squad features heavily this round), and the table is moulded dramatically once again. Another exhilarating and unpredictable round of Fantasy Acting League.
As for me, it is quite nice to be able to announce a slower part of my year, where I can focus on building up the blog archives. My play was sadly post-poned due to the actress I was working with injuring her leg, so my week opened up, allowing me to focus on reviewing some films and fine-tuning this Fantasy Acting League. My current guilty pleasure is diving through old Star Trek series on Netflix, which I am sure will be getting reviewed very soon on Oracle of Film. As for my film work, I have to be a tad secretive, although after a first production meeting, I have never felt more connecting to the film world. I have a lighting team, set designers and associate producers all hard at work, helping my latest vision come to life. Directing is beginning to feel like an actual job, rather than a hobby, which is an amazingly surreal time for me. Hopefully, in the future, I will be able to share my top secret project with you, but for now, I will have to keep you in suspense.

Round Analysis
Well, Margot Robbie pretty much shook the game up off of her own back. Suicide Squad worked out well in general, gathering the bulk of the month’s points, but it was Robbie that half the players put their faith in and she did them right here. Harley Quinn was definitely the actress at her best yet and the rest of us feel silly for not picking her. Other successful picks came in the form of Jason Bourne’s Alicia Vikander. She did well as a supporting actress, although she is also a good bet for OSCAR season, so I imagine a few players have their eyes on the future in terms of their choice of Vikander. Cranston, Stewart and Rogen were also good scorers, and the best teams were the ones who got a neat, little combo score, rocketing them up the table.
Namely Mr. Movie, who went from mid table to second place. Cinema Parrot Disco just about dodged losing a lead, bolstered by her own modest score this month. However, Mr. Movie, still a threat since stealth winning last year, is once again making his move on the title, eager to defend his reign as Fantasy Acting League champion. Everyone else have shuffled upwards well also. Twinkie’s rise last month has been damaged slightly by the mass scoring this round, but he is still clinging to a good spot for one more move on the title. As the end of the year comes around, once again, I repeat, I have no idea who is going to win this one!
I always perceived the end of the year being the strongest for me but it looks like too little, too late.
What does a girl gotta do to be considered a lead role instead of supporting? Kristen Wiig’s buns were just as big as Seth Rogen’s sausage!!!!! ; )
Man, if I could give out points for wittiness, you would win by miles with that comment!
Yep. Slow and steady wins the race 😊
I am doing spectacularly bad at the moment on this.
A talent within itself, Vinnieh 😉
I hope to climb in the rankings up to the good spots.
Still in the top 10… just.
