Man, I am so behind with this. I am really sorry. As ever, work is piling on top of me and this blog has been taking a beating for it. I am going to try and make a stand and start watching movies more regularly to try and actually have things to review and I really need to keep on top of these Fantasy Acting things. I know you guys love them, so I will try to be more on the ball with them. This round feels hilariously out of date with movies people have seen, reviewed and forgotten about. But hey… we still have some points to mine from them, don’t we? So let’s see how the tables are being shaken up this month…

This Round’s Movies

Captain America: Civil War
Everybody Wants Some!

Round Analysis

Idris-Elba-Jungle-Book

At first, this round seemed a little weak, surprising me as I was sure the Jungle Book would be the big tree-shaker of the year. Cinema Parrot Disco is still safe on her perch. The pack leaders haven’t budged too far, a few modest scorers from the Huntsman here and there. It seemed a little weak for a round, a shame, as my absence really has left me craving an apology blockbuster of a game. And then I looked between the lines. Because while the big scores have evaded the front of the table, the mid-table teams have snatched them up all. Abbi Osbiston (Congratulations on Little O, by the way), Sporadic Chronicles and Back to the Future have powered ahead, using this quiet round to make each and every one of their teams big contenders. Thanks to Scarlett Johansson’s Snake and Widow combo (Civil War was rated a five star movie by Empire, remember), a lot of teams powered up the ranks this round, making for a very unpredictable year to begin. It is probably a little late for a few teams (yes, I am thinking of myself here), but as it stands we have a strong running for Round Five, which could see a lot of new players break to the top of the table and make the stand they have been quietly building up to for quite some time.
