Oh man – your Jason Sudeikis is a MUCH better choice anyway. Is he one of those SNL people?? Ugh! I hate those people! They mean nothing to me so I don’t think of them. I had to look him up as I wasn’t even sure who he WAS. Damn – he’s in a lot this coming year. Good choice. 😉
Haha Then I can see why you didn’t think of him. Thanks. I’m hoping he is a good choice too! 😛 Woody Harrelson was on my short list so that’s why we had almost the exact same actors.
Yeah – I found the actresses pretty easy to pick but I had several alternates on my third actor & wasn’t that happy with Harrelson as my choice. It was between him, Morgan Freeman, Idris Elba & Keanu Reeves (Reeves may be iffy but he has a lot of potential movies out this year!). 🙂
I was considering Freeman and Ilba, too, but Sudeikis just felt right. 😛 My actresses were also pretty easy choices for me. They are going to make or break me though since 2/3 of them aren’t on any other team.
It’s tactical playing. Same team as the most consistent player, but one change. That way you are guaranteed to be almost neck and neck for the entire time.
When I first saw the teams I was thinking the same thing! She was obviously doing something right if she was in first until the last round.

I HOPE that not picking Kristen Wiig won’t backfire on me gloriously. And check out all the Idris love!

I chose Wiig last minute but didn’t want to because she annoys the hell out of me. 😉
I was close to picking Wiig actually, Vee. She has loads of bit parts in comedies throughout the year, so if the majority of them are good, she could be a gradual flow of points for you. That’s why I went with Seth Rogen.
Aw man! So many have stolen The Fass from me. I should be given first dibs on him. 😉 Thought I’d unberarthed a dark horse in Michael Shannon too but it would seem that others have the same idea. Let the battle commence! 🙂

Ohh – this is going to be interesting this time! I think people did their homework much more this year. There are three people whose choices have me worried & one more I’ll be watching very closely. I’m only really worried about those who chose Michael Shannon – he’s a solid choice this year. But great choices all around – I think this year will be closer! But I can’t believe no one picked Meg Ryan… I hear she’s making a comeback in 2016. 😉
Now I’ll annoy Luke again by saying… Is this starting with the next issue of Empire magazine? Is it online or magazine reviews? I have a lot riding on early February releases. Lol 😉
The points are calculated by the magazine as it is released every month. Starting from the very next one. Anything that didn’t get points in the final round of 2015’s league will get points in the 2016’s league. Capiche? 😉

Great choices all! I thought I’d have certain picks all to myself, but a few others thought of Maika Monroe and J.K. Simmons too. Why didn’t I think of Michael Shannon? I was shocked when I saw Slip/Through Dan picked five of my choices, just trading out Simmons for Tom Hanks. I hope we both do well! 🙂
